Bailey’s blown glass bowls, vessels, paperweights, tumblers and sculptures are often inspired by everyday textiles and confectionery. His soft pastel colouring is a hallmark of his work, adding a touch of whimsy to his pieces.
An Adelaide-based glass artist who is passionate about exploring the limits of blown glass, Bailey is recognised for his mastery of Venetian cane and murrine techniques, which require a high degree of skill and precision.
He has been perfecting his craft at the Jam Factory in South Australia as well as at the Corning Museum of Glass (New York) and in Venice.
As a newcomer to the art scene, Bailey is grateful for the opportunity to share his unique style and approach to glass art and looks forward to advancing his craft and inspiring others. Bailey joined the Collective in 2023.
