Franky’s range of hand carved wooden platters, bowls, boxes, cheese and serving boards and clocks feature brightly coloured resin designs that showcase the warmth and beauty of the locally sourced timber. These original artworks express her love of nature, as well as having a practical use in the home.

She began working with timber in 2003 making wooden toys at Christmas time for children in need. Inspired by the inlaying technique called Intarsia, Franky joined woodworking groups South Oz Scrollers, Toymendous and Northern Turners to further extend her skills, creating gift ware and children’s puzzles.

Franky joined the Collective in 2026 and is looking forward to sharing her work with a wider audience.
