Felt Textile Artist

Marion’s colourful felt includes fashion garments, accessories, interior pieces, wall art and sculptural forms.

Following traditional methods of felt-making, everything she makes is created entirely by hand using Australian Merino wool.

She allows her felt pieces to evolve, so that each piece is a uniquely individual “one off” offering and her sculptural artworks portray a message.

Marion’s experience running sheep and having a wool-classing qualification gives her a deep understanding of the versatility and resilience of this amazing fibre.

Sometimes sensual, sometimes practical, and usually colourful, felt has taken Marion on an amazing journey. She has been a member of the Collective since 2006.
