Silk screens, hand printing, painting and a variety of dyeing techniques combine to create original fabrics which Fiona uses to design and make her garments.

Her pieces feature landforms, seascapes, flora and fauna intermingled with the richness of colours inspired by Fiona’s travels through the Australian outback and the ever-changing environments of our vast land.’

Since completing an associate diploma in Art Textiles in 1984 Fiona has been very involved in the textile arts community as a member of several artist run studios and outlets. After a year off to travel around Australia she returned to study and gained a certificate in fashion.
