Lynn’s spectacular silk wall hangings, scarves and ties are printed with dyes that are steamed into the fabric. While the beautiful sparkling colours of her fused glass birds, fish and angels also echo the bright kimonos that first inspired her work.
Her new-age take on the old traditional ‘Uzen zome’ technique has recently led to the world of digital printing on fabric. This enables Lynn to focus on more intricate limited edition designs which she creates in her studio and are then printed in Sydney.
Along the way Lynn also fell in love with the luminosity of transparent glass. This medium has given her the opportunity to work collaboratively on large scale outdoor commissions for hospitals and other public art spaces. She has been a member of the Collective from the beginning and re-joined in 2017.
